Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the access to and use of the AMADEUS Wallet mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by AMADEUS CASTELLUM AG (registered office: Thurn-und-Taxis-Platz 6, 60313 Frankfurt am Main, Germany), a company incorporated under the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany (hereinafter "AMADEUS", "we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you ("User", "you") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

• Wallet: a non-custodial software wallet that generates and stores cryptographic keys on your device.
• Seed Phrase: a 12–24 word mnemonic used to derive your private keys.
• Exchange: the in-app functionality allowing swaps between supported crypto assets.
• On-Ramp / Off-Ramp: services allowing conversion between fiat currencies and crypto assets, provided by licensed third parties.

The Wallet is non-custodial. Your Seed Phrase and private keys are generated, encrypted, and stored exclusively on your device. AMADEUS has no access to your funds, no ability to reset your password, and no ability to recover your Seed Phrase.

You are solely responsible for the safekeeping of your Seed Phrase. Loss of the Seed Phrase results in permanent loss of access to your funds. AMADEUS bears no liability for such loss.

• You must be at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity.
• You must not be a resident of, or located in, any jurisdiction subject to international sanctions or a jurisdiction where the Service is prohibited.
• You must complete Know-Your-Customer ("KYC") verification to access Exchange and Fiat On-Ramp features.
• You warrant that you will not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering, terrorism financing, or tax evasion.

Certain features require the creation of an account authenticated by email and password, with optional two-factor authentication ("2FA"). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Crypto assets are highly volatile and speculative. Their value can drop to zero. Blockchain transactions are irreversible: an incorrect address or amount cannot be reversed.

AMADEUS does not provide investment, tax, or legal advice. Any information displayed in the Service (prices, charts, news, ratings) is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a recommendation.

Network fees ("gas") are determined by the underlying blockchain and payable by you. Exchange and swap fees are displayed within the app before you confirm each order. AMADEUS reserves the right to modify fee schedules with prior notice.

The Service integrates with third-party providers (KYC providers, fiat on-ramps, blockchain node providers, price data feeds). Your use of such third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. AMADEUS is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third parties.

• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the source code of the Service.
• Automated scraping, use of bots, or interference with the normal operation of the Service.
• Use in connection with any illegal, fraudulent, or sanctions-evading activity.
• Impersonation of any person or entity.

All trademarks, logos, software, and content of the Service are owned by AMADEUS or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right beyond a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, lawful purposes.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AMADEUS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of crypto assets, resulting from: loss of the Seed Phrase; malware or compromise of the User's device; phishing attacks; interruption or forks of third-party blockchains; or events of force majeure. AMADEUS's aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees paid by the User to AMADEUS in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, applicable law, or if required by a competent authority. Because the Wallet is non-custodial, termination does not affect your ability to access your funds using your Seed Phrase in any compatible wallet.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email at least thirty (30) days in advance. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict of laws rules. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the competent courts of Berlin, Germany, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights of your country of residence.
